PlayCore- Surfacing
Each year, PlayCore sponsors a studio within Auburn's Industrial Design program. In Fall of 2018, PlayCore's challenge for us was to create innovative and playful surfacing designs. PlayCore sent their Senior Vice President of Marketing, Design and Product Development, Tom Norquist, each week to our studio to provide feedback on weekly presentations given by each student. From my discussions, I created the Insta-mound and Surfac-seat. A new way to build up the surface to create mounds, seating, and fun activities.
